Irma has been making art since she was a child. She has been an internationally collected artist known for her fantasy works in needle felted and hand sewn soft sculpture, polymer clay and other media.

Accolades include being a featured artist affiliate at Living Felt, Froudian Artist award in August 2010 and featured in NZ Teds magazine in 2013. After a hiatus she is creating again.
